This is a story of three generations of women who all struggled in their own way with poverty, some poor choices made alng the way, and difficult relationships. Lynn Austin has once again woven a most interesting story.
When I started to read that book I wasn't able to stop. I wanted to find out the secrets behind the behavior of those people. Even though there are some tough parts and bad news in that story, the miracle of redemption and forgiveness made me hope for a good end.
Lynn Austin is one of my favorite writers and this story touched my heart deeply. I'm for sure gonna read it again in a few months.
Lynn Austin is a very good writer. This book was interesting as she told the story of three different generations and how some secrets should nor be kept. However, I found this to be a sad story with only a slight glimpse of hope and happiness by the end of it. I don't like reading books that leave me with such a sad feeling. Overall, it was a good read though.
I have yet to read a Lynn Austin book that didn't keep me turning the pages till it was over, and then I wanted it to go on. She develops fantastic characters you can relate to in all her books. I hope she never quits writing.
What can I say about Lynn Austin except that she knows how to tell a story. The is a really really wonderful story and the ending surprised me a bit but just all around a beautiful story. Cheers! to Lynn
