L. B. Graham (MDiv, Covenant Seminary) is chairman of the Bible department and teacher of English and Worldviews at Westminster Christian Academy in St. Louis. He has written several articles in IVPs Dictionary of Biblical Imagery. He and his wife, Joanne, have two children.

"All My Holy Mountain" is great fantasy fun with a kick. Graham warns us of the risk of losing ourselves in the task we take up. Even good things can become addictions. The Binding of the Blade series is remarkable in at least two ways. First is the grand themes explored in this epic fantasy series. Graham's motifs echo with archetypal power: summoning the father of dragons, eluding a great flood, harnessing elusive prophetic powers, and quelling evil. The series is also remarkable because of the cover artwork by legendary illustrator Larry Elmore. If the stories inside the books have generated such striking imagery, they must be compelling indeed.
