All About Reading’s Orton-Gillingham-based program teaches foundational literacy skills using multisensory strategies. In Level 3, students will learn 16 new phonograms and practice reading words that include the phonograms. They'll also practice more methods for decoding multisyllable words, reading words with prefixes and suffixes, syllable division and more concepts. Using more advanced texts, they'll also continue to practice comprehension skills like comparing/contrasting main characters, skimming for information, making predictions, and more. Vocabulary will focus on understanding homophones, synonyms, antonyms, and more. Students will learn to identify literary devices. This Level 3 Complete Materials Kit includes most of the required resources for teacher and student. Each of the 54 lessons are scripted in the open-and-go Teacher’s Manual, so, with very little prep, you can focus on your child and keep the lesson time short, fun, and engaging.
