Making a difference forever..
Thankfully, the answer to some prayers is no. Wendy Murray Zoba, in her article The Living Birthday Letter, relates a prayer of Ruth Graham s: As a young girl she asked the Lord to let her die a martyr s death, preferably as an old-maid missionary in Tibet. Her life has been a testimony to that unanswered prayer. Instead of dying young on a mission field, Graham was given the martyrdom of a long life. She has aged in grace while passing on a legacy of faith to her children, grandchildren, and many spiritual children.
What kind of prayers did you pray as a young person? How did God answer them? Have your prayers changed over the years? What legacy have you planned to leave behind for your children? Have you raised any spiritual children? How are you serving in God s kingdom or have you retired? As you ve grown older, have you soured or aged in grace? This study will discuss how to make each day count forever.
