Author Bio

Jonathan Cash, a meteorologist for one of the highest rated morning television newscasts in the country, is also a Bible teacher and popular speaker. While studying atmospheric science in college, Jonathan became fascinated with biblical accounts of climatic upheavals; he was saved at age twenty-three after reading through such accounts in Revelation seven times. As a scientist who believes in creationism, Jonathan brings a unique voice to those who might not otherwise listen to the Gospel message. He has established In the Sky Ministries to help fulfill his heart's desire for evangelizing lost churchgoers. He has authored three books: Lost in Church, which examines the harvest fields ready within church walls, and The Age of the Antichrist and Thunder in Paradise, two end-time thrillers that Jonathan has termed "faction" since they are fictional novels based on facts recorded in Revelation. Jonathan lives in Chesapeake, Virginia, with his wife, Tina, and two children.

Ken Action is engaged to his co-anchor Sally, and life is happening exactly like he's always dreamed it would. He's at the top of the news market, and he is the king of his own world. But when millions suddenly disappear, his Sally among them, he is determined to find out what happened to them. In his search for the truth, Ken receives an offer he cannot refuse. Will he become one of the deceived, or is Ken finally ready to receive God into his life?

Immanuel Bernstate is a banker, and he wants to be at the top of the game. With the help of Blasphemy, a five star general in Satan's army, Immanuel reaches the ultimate power as the world president of the United Nations of the world. Killing whoever stood in his way, and deceiving any remaining dissenters, the age of the Antichrist begins.

This book was full of excitement and held me in the grip of anticipation through every word, every page and every chapter. It was all I wanted to know about a fictional, yet Biblical ends of days narrative in one compact, four hundred page book. I liked that is wasn't too long, yet it was detailed enough to have the character growth that one needs to connect, and the subject matter was very sobering indeed. Highly recommended to anyone who wants a simple, interesting, condensed version of the things that are yet to come.

When I first read this book several years ago, I was a bit disappointed in the spiritual world's portrayal. I was expecting a Peretti-like book; however, no one can compare to Frank Peretti as far as writing style and intensity, so it's better to drop that expectation before opening the book so as to not be disappointed and miss out on really enjoying the book. ;)That being said, this is an excellent read. When I re-read it a couple years ago, after learning some about the background goings-on in this country (including the pivotal role bankers and financiers have had in the government during the past century) it seemed almost uncanny in its portrayal of future events. IMO, this novel comes the closest to reality when dealing with the behind-the-scenes situations and people that are going to manipulate the world into accepting the "man of peace" that will eventually institute himself as the leader of the New World Order and declare himself god.Much much better than the Left Behind series (and not nearly as long). ;)

I must say I was thrilled at the prospect of reading another Peretti type novel. This novel does not seem as interesting and the characters are not as intriguing as Peretti's. I feel like much of the dialogue was unnecessary and unchristianlike, for example, the use of cursing was totally uncalled for. The reason I purchase christian fiction is so that I don't have to read bad language, as I am sure it is with most of you. I would recommend purchasing it only if you can't find anything else.

I am reading the "Left Behind" series which I believe is very well written and am now reading this book. I'm Impressed! The Age of the Antichrist flies really quickly through your hands. The Left Behind series and this book have highlights in their own rights. In the Left Behind books you get to know a set of people over a long period of time. The Age of the Antichrist covers things very concisely and quickly. The action is non-stop and left me breathless at times. I missed a fair amount of sleep with this book. The bottom line is it brought Revelation to light in a very entertaining and readable format. I recommend to fellow Christians for the theology contained within, and to non-believers for the way it presents the end-times in am easy to understand format.
