Last year my daughter (then five) did this level A book and Level B and now she confidently reads kids chapter books like the magic tree house series. This year she'll do Level C, and I've already ordered all three books for my second daughter.

The price is excellent, the pages are simple, the first third of the book needs more parental supervision, but once they've learned the basic letter sounds, they just need the directions at the top of the page read to them and help when they're stuck.

We love this book! Reading programs can be so expensive and so cluttered with bright distracting pictures but this one is not. The pictures are interesting but not distracting to my new reader. This is a straight forward book with no nonsense phonics lessons. The layout is very logical and easy to teach. The price is so affordable too! Great book!!

I highly recommend! After finishing book A (in kindergarten) my son is reading above grade level. Alongside Book A we used the readers, flashcards and The Noah Websters Reading Handbook.
