My son (6 yrs old) absolutely loves these books. We have been using them for read-aloud/listening time. It's hard to put them down. We have read through 18 of them and many of them we have read more than once. If you have an emerging reader or an early elementary child who wants to read an adventure story, I highly recommend these! Written in the style of "Magic Treehouse" with 100 pages and short chapters, these offer a Christian worldview alternative, with lots of adventure!! (Reading levels are on the back cover of each one.) This is a series, so many (pretty much all of them) have cliff -hangers to the next book! I recommend these books all the time to friends and teachers alike. And yes, I have been known to read ahead because I want to know what happens next and I can't wait. Adventures in Odyssey is well known for it's quality and these are no exception.

My son (who does not normally like to read) and I are loving reading this series together. My husband does not spend much time reading with the kids but these books have him captivated too.
