Dan4 Stars Out Of 5Great Book!August 6, 2016DanQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 4"I already own the first two books, so this just added on to my collection. I love AIO. The message was great. Point of no Return- its when Jimmy Barclay thinks becoming a Christian will make life easier, but he finds out the opposite.
Dark Passage- when Jack Davis and Matt Booker disobey a KEEP-OUT sign on the Imagination Station and decide to take a ride to-an adventure in the Civil War!
Freedom Run-Matt joins Jack, and both of them have a thrilling Underground Railroad adventure!
The Stranger's Message-A stranger comes to Whit, looking for a job. Whit and the kids at Whit's End ask, " What would Jesus do?"
I thank Paul McCuster for the best Odyssey book ever! Thanks, AIO!"
David Gillette5 Stars Out Of 5So good they are read-again stories.December 12, 2013David GilletteQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This is a great set of stories. The thing I enjoyed the most was the realism within the story and how the story connected two stories together. The two stories connected are the life story of the characters who travel in the imagination station and the historical experience they have in their journey. In my opinion this motif is one of the factors that makes all the earlier stories just a little bit better. It makes them read-again stories.

So upon coming across this series of books by Paul McCusker, one of the incredibly talented writers for the show, I was intrigued and had to read. And I'm really glad I did.
"Point of No Return" takes the reader back to a time before even the first episode of AIO and gives some great backstory to a number of characters, as well as some characters whom we never meet in the show. My favorite part of the book was the chronicling of Jimmy Barclay's coming to know Christ as his Savior. He was one of my favorite characters on the show, and I loved that this book gave you a glimpse into his past. :)
There's a lot more to the book, and I won't give it all away, but just simply say that if you're a fan of the great radio show, Adventures in Odyssey, I can see no reason why you won't love this book too!
