Review Title: Fast Start to Bible Appreciation (review of Adventure Bible for Little Ones from Zonderkidz)

    Reviewer: Janice S. Garey

    ***** 5 Stars

This beautifully illustrated beginning board book Bible will be welcome by parents and toddlers. For families with older children, the younger children will be happy to have their own little Bible with some of the same stories their siblings love. For church nurseries and Sunday School, this Bible will be great to use at the beginning or ending waiting times. I especially liked that the illustrations seem more realistic than some of what is on the market that might be confusing to the very young between what is animated and fantasy rather than true life stories.

The Adventure theme of the Bible brings it to life more than some other type offerings might do. I think this helps it to appeal to the children who are very active and don't want to sit still for long. They can read a story and then maybe act it out for a break from sitting. The book has ten stories which could mean one a day for two weeks or some other division depending on the age and stage of the children.

I won this book through a book reviewer's blog contest. I have given my honest review. I think most Christians would enjoy having this book either in their home library or church library. It would make a nice gift for Christian families expecting a baby. It is very sturdy so little hands can not tear the pages.
