The course moves through the units taught in TWSS, along with advanced essay models, helping students to learn to write argumentative, personal, narrative, descriptive, persuasive, research, and literary analysis essays.

Inset pages of the student book are provided along with teacher instructions, question answers, sample key word outlines, brainstorming ideas, review games, and helps for motivating students.
