Feeling chronically overwhelmed? Discover the power of cross-generational friendships! Exploring an encouraging vision from Titus 2, Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth reveals that all women are strengthened when young moms and singles widen their peer groups to include those who've "been there" and when older "veterans" shed their protective cocoons and invest in the next generation.
To get the most out of this book, invite a group of women - older and younger - to read through it together and discuss the questions found at the end of each chapter. You can find additional resources at adornedbook.com.

Known for her wisdom, warmth, and knowledge of Scripture, Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth has encouraged millions through her books, radio programs, and conferences. Now shes back with a legacy work on Titus 2 and its powerful vision for women:
Woman to woman. Older to younger. Day to day. Life to life.
This is Gods beautiful plan.
The Titus 2 model of older women living out the gospel alongside younger women is vital for us all to thrive. It is mutually strengthening, glorifies God, and makes His truth believable to our world.
Imagine older women investing themselves in the lives of younger women, blessing whole families and churches. Imagine young wives, moms, and singles gaining wisdom and encouragement from women whove been there and have found Gods ways to be true and good. Imagine all womenfrom older women to young girlsliving out His transforming gospel together, growing the entire body of Christ to be more beautiful.
This is Christian community as God designed it. Read this book and take your relationships to new depths, that your life might find its fullest meaning as you adorn the gospel of Christ.

As with all her books, Nancy does a wonderful job bringing to life what living out the gospel together looks like.
We're not suppose to go at it alone. Mentoring is an important part of the Christian women's life. Whether as a mentor or being mentored, these relationships help strengthen our Christian walk. Using her own experiences to show how important it is, Nancy encourages the older women to invest their time into younger women, and encourages the younger women to embrace the wisdom from the older.
Not only is this book well written, but the subject of intergenerational mentoring is a subject I've rarely seen but is highly needed in the Christian community.
This isn't a light reading, but rather a Scripture saturated study. I highly recommend this book!

She encourages the older women to invest their time into the younger women, and the younger women to learn from the wisdom of those older than they.
This book is broken down into three main sections, each encouraging us to be the women God intended us to be, aging beautifully, having our life under control, and being a loving woman in the home. Fundamental teaching in how to live life to the fullest, I highly recommend every Christian woman read this.
I received a complimentary copy of this book but was not required to leave a review.
Booklover105 Stars Out Of 5Beautiful book from cover to cover. Challenging yet encouragingJuly 2, 2017Booklover10Quality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5The older I get, the more that I long for a mentor--an older, wiser woman who has been there, done that and can share her wisdom. I want someone to share their passion for the Lord and tell me all about what God has taught them through the good times and the bad times. I also long to be a mentor to ones younger than me. When I saw this book addressed this passion of mine, I knew I couldn't not read it!
Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth has done a beautiful job laying out Titus 2 to show women of all ages what it looks like to live the Gospel out together. My favorite section was Part 2, where it talks about a woman under control. Women are tempted to fall into these traps daily and it was a section that reminded me again of how intentional I have to be in my daily choices because others are watching.
Adorned speaks of a woman under God, under self-control, and under her roof. I love the three different areas shown throughout the pages. Every woman needs to read this book. I think it would make a great study for a Women's Ministry to do together. It would also be a great book for Women's Bible Study groups to go through and discuss with the hopes that more women will come to know that there is wisdom found in both the younger and the older. God knew what was good when He said they needed to live out the Gospel together.
I received this book free from Moody Publishers in exchange for my honest opinion of this book.
JillPJones4 Stars Out Of 5Wonderful Book about mentoringJune 21, 2017JillPJonesQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0Titus 2 is a model for all women, young and old, to live life side by side in a mentoring relationship meant to strengthen our Christian walk. Older women invest themselves in training younger women to be godly women, wives and mothers while the younger women submit themselves to the teaching of those who have walked the path before them. What a blessing women are to our families and our churches when they follow the path God has laid out for them.
Pauls instructions in Titus 2 provides guidelines that will help us as women to experience the kind of community and influence God designed.
In many ways, Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth, author of Adorned, a book about Titus 2, has exemplified the Titus 2 model for all women. She has sat up under some wonderful Christian women like Vonette Bright, wife of Bill Bright. She has mentored women of all ages through her radio and online ministry, Revive Our Hearts, for many years. Her wisdom and love for God has radiated through the airwaves and through her books.
If you are a seasoned woman of God, youve probably already heard about the Titus 2 woman and how important it is to seek the wisdom of other women as well as provide godly guidance to those who are just beginning their Christian walk.
Wolgemuth only recently married for the first time at age 58. It was only at this time, after experiencing marriage herself, could she write a book as profound as Adorned. She uses examples from her recent marriage to show how important it is to have someone with some marital wisdom to guide you in the right path. Marriage is hard and while there are times we may all want to throw in the towel, older women who have withstood the trials and joys of marriage can offer wisdom to younger women willing to listen to their advice.
The book divides Titus 2 into three parts and each chapter ends with a Making It Personal section for both older women and younger women. Adorned is perfect for a small group study combining both groups of women who can advise and help each other.

Brianna5 Stars Out Of 5AdornedJune 6, 2017BriannaQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Adorned by Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth is easily the best book in my reading selections recently. I often use sticky notes to highlight thought-provoking sections of a book and the amount of sticky notes is usually indicative of a good read. Adorned is no exception! My copy of Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuths latest book are laden with sticky notes! She is an extremely talented writer, gifted with the ability to write cleanly, concisely, and honestly.
However, not only is the book well-written and well-edited, the subject of intergenerational women mentoring one another is highly needed and sorely absent in many churches and Christian communities. Nancy leads the reader in a solid study of Scripture, specifically Titus 2: 1-5, 10. I particularly appreciated Nancys thoughts on alcohol and submission; although some readers might not agree with her position, the sections provides thought-provoking comments in a non-threatening way.
I am challenged to reread Adorned with another woman or several other women, and to look for the mentoring relationship that can help me to grow to become a Titus 2 woman. I highly recommend Adorned to other readers, as well!
