This was wonderful to look at and contained beautiful scripture from Isaiah and Luke!

This is a large, religious themed calendar with vibrant colors. What I love is that the artist has included many different animals in this nativity scene and that's why I think animal lovers will have a great time opening this Advent calendar everyday! Also, the numbers are easy to see but you will still have to hunt to find each day's window!

This Advent calendar has just the Holy Family and the animals, no shepherds or wisemen. It focuses on the animals somehow knowing that this baby is Christ the King. I like the expressions on the faces of Mary and Joseph. I really like how Joseph seems to be looking down at the baby with a sense of protection, which, of course, is true during the flight into Egypt. The glitter is not heavy or overdone, just touches here and there. I think it's cute that there are dogs and cats and baby chicks, and even a squirrel and a mouse. It is smaller than the other Advent calendar I bought, but I knew that before I purchased it.
