Alice H. Murray worked as a Florida adoption attorney for 35 years handling nonrelative infant placements. She now pursues her passion for penning articles, devotions, and pieces for compilation works. Her work has appeared in Chicken Soup for The Soul, The Upper Room, Guideposts publications, the Short and Sweet Series, and GO! Magazine, among others. Alice’s first book was an annotated version of an Agatha Christie mystery, The Secret of Chimneys.

Beyond writing, Alice also speaks and teaches. She records a weekly spot for Christian Mix 106, a digital radio station, called “Murray’s Motivational Moments” as well as appearing at book clubs in 1920s dress to talk about her Agatha Christie book. Alice has taught at writers’ conferences as well as presented at adoption education events.
