Tell us a little about yourself.  I am a New Hampshire author and consider my writing a God-given vocation.

What was your motivation behind this project?  I had two motives in writing. The first was to reflect upon my own life-journey and God's presence and activity in it from the beginning to the present day. The second was to create an intimate personal narrative that might connect with others who have experienced foster care and adoption and give them hope, that healing is more than just possible. It's what God wants to do for every boy, girl, man, and woman.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  we can overcome the issues inherent in being fatherless and being grafted into a family other than the birth family.

How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  I was healed in the writing. The Lord met me at many touchpoints throughout the writing and editing process, where I faced deep hurts that had scarred over without me ever dealing with them. I also recounted the remarkable breakthroughs that God gave me throughout my life.

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  Bestselling American novelist, Ron Hansen, said that "Adopted" is: " . . . a stirring, suspenseful, thrilling autobiography enriched both by its unprotected candor and its sincere portrait of a soul on its winding stair toward God." Adopted is not only for those who can relate to adoption and adoption's great issues, but for all who can empathize with the universal human experiences of: Abandonment, Rejection, Sense of Place, Need for Roots, Acceptance, Security, Family, Belonging, Root Existential questions, and the need for Healing Love. ADDED FEATURE: Those who have an interest in the culture and music of the 1960's and 70's--and of "The Beach Boys" in particular--will find my' accounts of interactions with both to be intriguing and informative.
