I can't imagine why Christian families use Well Trained Mine products. All products in which I have seen have a heavy Pagan or anti-Christian tone. Pagan fables are treated as if they are as valid as Christianity. The projects are very Pagan in nature. Some examples of Pagan projects are build a Pagan temple, mummify a chicken, make tattoos, etc. The Well Trained Mind curriculum design has children reading Mein Kampf and Communist Manifesto. As an adult solid in my faith, I still would not saturate my mind with the thoughts of Hitler. Where is the discernment amongst believers?!

I agree with many of the negative comments and was surprised of the number of positive comments from a christian standpoint. I couldn't even get past the first chapter. I was excited about the story format, which was very engaging for my kindergartener and myself. The introduction captured our attention, but then you reach chapter 1 reading the earliest settlers being the Nomads. What happened to Adam and Eve? I then explained to my little one that it was post Adam and Eve, but after further investigation the books history timeline does not match up, which led me to some reviews on the book and affirmed my concerns. Disappointed to say the least! Brings too much confusion to little hearts and minds when you want it to stay true to the Word of God.
