This was a good book with the right amount of suspense for the setting and plot. While I had a feeling as to the possible outcome, I still wanted to know if I was right. I loved how Ashley grew in maturity and in her trust and eventual heeding of God's call.

I am a big fan of Traci Peterson, her books are so easy to read and follow the characters of the book through their lifes. This series was one of the first that the people from the first book didn't follow through. It was the location.

I had read this book before and throughly enjoyed reading it again. In my mind I kept thinking there was an author who had written books about the Harvey girls and I loved the one book I had read. I kept telling myself keep an eye out for it. And, as I started reading I thought THIS IS IT! I found the series and read all 3 books in a row.

This is a great historical christian fiction book. One of the best I've read, This author is comparable to Francine Rivers. The story line showed real life problems, and how the characters dealt with them. I couldnt put the book down.

I'm a speed reader but was so pleasantly surprised at Tracie's fantastic writing of this book that delved into so many human & yet common issues of life! I actually read every line & this was good!!
