Tell us a little about yourself. I was a Christian pastor for 38 years, serving four congregations in three states. I took seriously the timeless truth of God's Word for life and ministry, and sought to faithfully teach it from the pulpit and in study groups. I also believe firmly in salvation by faith alone, in Christ alone, and in our need to repent, confess and trust Him for our salvation, and tried to draw others to Him in faith.
What was your motivation behind this project? I have seen many false beliefs about who God is, and sought to offer a corrective to some of those views by helping people to look into scripture to see what God had to say about Himself. We can trust God's Word to give us a true and clear understanding of His nature and character.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I hope believers will gain a clearer understanding of correct doctrines of God, and I hope seekers will turn to this volume to learn more about who their Creator is.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? I learned a lot myself, and was excited to study God's own words about Himself.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? People such as R. C. Sproul, Larry Crabb, Joseph Stowell, Wayne Grudem and Alistair Begg have been very helpful in helping me to grow in my own personal discipleship.
