Music Theory I is a colorful worktext designed to help give children a basic knowledge of musical concepts and symbols. Most lessons include exercises to check student understanding while four "Musical Checkups" are included to gauge overall comprehension.
In this course, children learn to play the flutophone, making practical use of concepts they are learning. The workbook includes pictures showing correct fingering for each note learned as well as many songs for children to play. It also includes supplementary note practice, songs for extra practice, and small individual flashcards for children to practice at a later time.
