- Dances with Hasidic Jews in Brooklyn
- Discovers the 330-year-old home of Brother Lawrence
- Plants prayer bombs in North Korea

- Attends the world's largest church
- Attempts fire walking (with only minor burns)

Is anyone listening? Do my prayers really change anything?
Jared Brock sensed that something was missing in his prayer life, so he embarked on a yearlong journey to rediscover the power of prayer (and eat some delicious falafel).

Jared Brock is the cofounder of Hope for the Sold, an abolitionist charity that fights human trafficking one word at a time. Jared has written for The Huffington Post, Converge, Esquire, Thought Catalog, and Relevant. He's happily married to his best friend, Michelle, whom he first kissed in the seventh grade.
Looking to break from the drudgery of prayer, Jared Brock and his wife left on a one-year journey to experience prayer at a global level. Brock obviously enjoyed his one-year adventure of learning how various Judeo-Christian denominations and sects pray to God. Even more noticeable to the listener are his fond recollections of his journey. His excitement and anticipation will entice listeners to stay glued to their earphones. While the eclectic approach may not be for everyone, this research is provocative and will certainly garner interest the world over. Because of his engaging personality, this work will be well received even if the listener disagrees with the author's point of view. T.D.
