Tell us a little about yourself.  I am a Christian Educator, a Reading Specialist who have raised three successful young adults. I am married as well.

What was your motivation behind this project?  I did not see many contemporary poems that spoke to some of my needs. I love Helen Steinier Rice Poems. She wrote from a Christian point of view. I am a poet and I knew it was time for me to fulfill my calling in this 21 Century!

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  I pray that they will be blessed and their lives will be impacted from these poems.

How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  I simply poured out of my soul what I had been longing to do for so, so, so long!

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  I have been blessed by many poets: Maya Angelou, Nikki Giovanni, and Phyllis Wheatley.

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  I have been writing poems since I was a child and my poems span from childhood reflections to adult spiritual reflections.
