    Tell us a little about yourself.  I am a wife and mom from Northern Canada and the author of the Forged in Flames series.

    What was your motivation behind this project?  I hoped to highlight the intrinsic value of all people and show the unique blessings each individual brings.

    What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  I hope readers will gain a better appreciation for people who are different from them. I hope people see that all people are created equally and have hopes, dreams and aspirations.

    Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  This series was inspired by my faith in God. I have been privileged to work with many children with exceptionalities whose warmth, wit and pure joy are woven into the character of Alex Smiley.
