Anonymous5 Stars Out Of 5Awesome book!January 3, 2015AnonymousQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I have read this book many times! it is a good read: it has action to keep you involved, humor that keeps you smiling, and best of all a lesson/message for Christians and non-Christians. This particular book focuses on revenge, and how vengeance is the Lord's. It was a good reminder for me, and taught me more. It also includes the salvation message. Don't worry about the age/gender of the audience; I have heard of numerous people reading and enjoying it, who were not even youth!

I am disguised as a boy for my own safety, living the life of a slave. My father is hanged for a crime he did not commit. I wish to escape and revenge his death and find the rightful heir to the throne. A hopeless quest_. And yet_.
I shall tell you no more, for you shall have to read my story for yourself!

Tell us a little about yourself. I grew up homeschooled, on the farm, in a Christian family. I am married to a loving husband, and am a mother. I have so many stories up there in my head, I can't write fast enough.
What was your motivation behind this project? For some people school is easy, for me it wasn't. Writing stories was a way to prove something to myself, then my motive for writing changed, and I wanted to share the gospel and encourage young people to live for the Lord, and that is where these stories began.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I hope every reader is challenged in some way in their walk with the Lord.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? Some stories I write reflect my own life and lessons I've learned, this is one of them. we often think our anger is justified because we've been wronged, but we fail to realize that we need forgiveness.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? the biggest influences in my life have probably been my parents and older brother, who encouraged me to use the talents the Lord has given me. my favorite author is probably Lois Wilfred Johnson, who inspired me to write my first story as a young teen.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: A Slave's Quest is the first in The Chronicles of Exmoor series. The Battle Over a Prince is the second, and there will be more to come. please look up our blog on the web and like us on Facebook. Stay posted and keep watch for book number three!
