Tell us a little about yourself. I am a pastor's wife who was blessed to be raised in a Christian home. I have spent a great deal of time serving within the church community singing on praise teams, working in Children's ministry, and running a Christian Drug and Alcohol rehab called The Mt Zion House for Women. God has blessed me with the gift of writing, whether it be song, poetry, or now romance and I hope to use this gift as an outreach ministry to the lost, and to encourage those who already have a relationship with Jesus Christ.
What was your motivation behind this project? This project started out as a college creative writing assignment and just continued to grow over the years. I listened to a sermon one day on how we are to use our talents for God. Life had taken me away from writing but I vowed to God to finish this book and so I have. I would sit down at my computer every day and ask God what he wanted me to write. Sometimes I would sit for 8 hours and type non-stop. God is so faithful to show up when you invite him!!! I never knew where the story was going from one day to the next. I was blessed to be the instrument in this project!
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? My hope is to reach the lost with the salvation message and to encourage those who already have a relationship with our Lord and Savior.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? I was amazed each and every day at what He gave me to write. This is so God.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? First and foremost I am a King James girl!!! So my first and foremost author is the Holy Spirit. Years ago I read a lot and loved Dee Henderson! I don't do as much reading anymore as I don't want to inadvertently use someone else's ideas.

It’s been two years and memories of Garrett still haunt Danielle’s dreams. Why did he leave her? Why didn’t he at least confront her with whatever it was that she said or did to make him stop seeing her? There were too many unanswered questions and she couldn’t keep living like this. She wanted to move on. She knew in her heart it was time to face the issues that not only tormented her but were beginning to control her.
Little did she know, it was more than memories that were out to torment her. Who was out to get her and why? Life was getting more complicated by the minute, and she had nobody to turn to and nowhere to run.
Garrett knew the way he had broken things off with Danielle should have been handled differently, but going back for a re do was impossible. However, now with her so near, he knew he had to take this opportunity to win her back. There was only one way that could happen. He had to show her a new and special kind of love with each and every day of Christmas that passed. A gift each day that would stand the test of time and a true love that would never break her heart or leave her alone.
This Christmas season, with a little faith and help from his friends, Garrett’s hope is to see Danielle receive the ultimate gift…, A Promise of Love by Christmas.
