Publisher's Description

Champion backcountry snowboarder Gage Watson has left the limelight behind after the death of one of his fans. After being sued for negligence and stripped of his sponsorships, he's remade his life as a ski patrol in Montana's rugged mountains, as well as serving on the PEAK Rescue team. But he can't seem to find his footing--or forget the woman he loved, who betrayed him.

Senator and former attorney Ella Blair spends much of her time in the limelight as the second-youngest senator in the country. But she has a secret--one that cost Gage his career. More than anything, she wants to atone for her betrayal of him in the courtroom and find a way to help him put his career back on track.

When Ella's brother goes missing on one of Glacier National Park's most dangerous peaks, Gage and his team are called in for the rescue. But Gage isn't so sure he wants to help the woman who destroyed his life. More, when she insists on joining the search, he'll have to keep her safe while finding her reckless brother, a recipe for disaster when a snowstorm hits the mountain.

But old sparks relight as they search for the missing snowboarder--and suddenly, they are faced with emotions neither can deny. But when Ella's secret is revealed, can they learn to trust each other--even when disaster happens again?

Susan May Warren has yet again written an outstanding novel in her latest release, A Matter of Trust, book 3 in the Montana Rescue series. A page turner until the end, this book will take you on a ride where you will encounter a cast full of unforgettable characters, a plot thick with tension, and a resounding message of trust and forgiveness.

True to all Warren books, this novel derives its strength from complex characters, struggling with all too relatable problems amid a resounding plot that keeps you turning page after page. I especially loved how this book builds on the plots of the previous books. As I moved through the first few chapters, I felt like I was coming home to family, getting reacquainted with their lives and digging deeper into what makes them tick. Warren does an outstanding job of developing these characters, for it is through this development that her message rings clear. The power of forgiveness, second chances, and redemption flows off the pages in a way that challenged and touched me. There is something about Warren's style that impacts and gives a promise of hope amid even the darkest of circumstances.

I am thrilled that this is not the last book in the series. Warren closed this novel with a teaser that will keep me coming back for the next two installments. If only they could release sooner!

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for my honest review.

    MY THOUGHTS ON THIS BOOK

Ski Patrol Gage Watson is on the trail of teens in the wrong dangerous place in Glacier National Park, but when he caught up with them, one of the guys remembered Gages past life. Then Ella appeared and emotions and tension started flying all over the place. These two clearly have a dangerous history!

A Matter of Trust is an amazingly written story of dealing with past mistakes, of forgiveness and love, in the mist of tension and emotions. And I love how Susan May Warren incorporates Living the Christian life in the lives of her characters. Though some may take a while to let go and let God have control, it happens at some point in the story. Which is an awesome ministry, guiding readers to a better relationship with the Lord! I really enjoyed this third book in Montana Rescue Series! I ached for Gage because he truly was trying to forget his past and make something of his life, but his past kept coming back to bite him. And Ella, she was confusing because she was so wishy-washy about what she was trying to say. When Ellas brother was missing, emotions spiked so high and I could feel the tension coming out of there pages!

Ive never been to Glacier National Park, so it was a real treat for me as I read through the scenes that were so vividly described of the park. As I was reading this book as hi as the temperature is here, I thought myself freezing because I could feel the snow flying out of the pages of the book as well. Detention and that snow just felt so real and I loved it. I could keep going on and on talking about all of the action packed fun throughout this story, but you need to get the book and read it for yourself. Its just not the same if you dont read it yourself.

I highly, highly recommend a matter of trust. I received this book from the publisher, Revell. I was not required to write a review, it was my choice to write this positive review, and the opinions in this review are my honest opinions only.

A Matter of Trust is Crisp, fast, self-pitying, fear, danger, guilt, regret, trust, faith and healing. Greg, was a fast speed junky champion of freestyle, snowboarder, but there was something sick and serious that happened that made him run away from what he loved the most. He went to P.e.a.k. and became a snow patrolman (still a junky but unconsciously) and rescues other's - then there is Ella who is a long lost love who is coming after him because of what happened before he left snowboarding, but I digress - Will there be a romance come up again with all that in between them? Will he go back to snowboarding again? Will He accept a rescue? We all know "GOD can do all things through CHRIST who strengthens them" Amen? , but will he Let GOD heal him? I received a complimentary copy of this book from the Publisher and Netgalley; all the opinions expressed in this review are all my very own.
