The book takes the story of the widow who only has a little oil in her house. God takes what she has and helps her to multiply it in order to fill her serious needs to save her and her family from debt and the loss of her sons.
The author uses the analogy of the little oil and shows how God works in your life only after you pour yourself out into the lives of others even when you don't feel like doing so.
She tells stories in her life when she poured herself out and how it helped her and others. The book is three chapters long and is a fairly quick read. It reads like a devotional book.
It is a good reminder that God can take the small things we have and multiply them for his glory and to help others as well as ourselves.
