The movie was pretty slow moving and boring, but it did get a little better at the end. Sometimes, someone talented in one area doesn't do well in another. Randy Travis "grew on me" as an actor, but he is a better singer. If he would have sung in the movie, maybe I would have liked it better. Connie Sellecca has done better.
Someone said, "If one stands for nothing, they will fall for anything." Unfortunately this movie doesn't really stand for anything much except for secular humanistic ideas. There is no real Christmas message; just a bunch of 'good people' doing 'good things' for 'good reasons' without Christ being the center or the motivation for their behavior. Well acted for the most part, but entirely unforgettable and pointless.
