Product Description

After a rocky divorce, Caroline Giblin (Connie Sellecca) could use a fresh start. With her bags packed and her reluctant daughter by her side, she sets out for her quaint hometown of Mayville just in time for Christmas. Caroline finds that not much has changed back home, including her one-time fiancé Clay Traynor (Randy Travis), who is as stubborn as ever. When Caroline and Clay discover a young boy named William squatting in the basement of her grandmother's former house, Caroline wants to let him stay, but Clay is reluctant and secretly contacts the authorities, causing the two to return to their old, bickering ways. Will Caroline and Clay remain at odds…or will this be A Holiday to Remember? Approx. 90 minutes.

A 1-star rating reviewer took the time and put forth the effort to say most of it for me except that she didn't mention also that it is badly acted by country/western singer Randy Travis though playing the better man outperformed by Connie Selleca even in her worldly compromising part at least beautiful to look at and seems like she'd be a nice person in real life though her part unknowingly lacking God, and played well by the young lad better than most child actors, in this disappointing old flick's missed potential that wanted to be and could have been so much better but missed the mark.

I'm sad to write this review because I had such high hopes for this movie but it is not good. It had no Christian values whatsoever, it only mentioned God three time. 1. When Miss Leonna drug the kids to church, 2. A nativity play(which is not accurately told), 3. When William said grace(he said it very disrespectfully towards God). Other than those three references towards God it was very secular. It doesn't have any good values except to be a "good" person. The mom, Caroline, had a fiance as a teen and she left him at the alter(without a goodbye), she just got a divorce, and she is a psychologist(she references quotes from famous psychologists a few times, but didn't reference God once). Though people do get divorced and leave people at alters, I don't think it should be taught as the "norm" in Christian movies; they should not promote anything that goes against God.

I don't recommend this movie at all.
