Tell us a little about yourself.  "A Heart's Inscriptions" is my first book. The project was started two years ago.

What was your motivation behind this project?  I wrote this book for my Grandpa who unfortunately passed away before I was able to tell him about it. He always enjoyed my short stories, there were a couple that I sent to him. He encouraged me to be somebody and do great things with my life. I knew he would have been proud, had he known.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  This book is set in the genre of Children's Fiction but is also compiled of stories for adults and young adults. It is a collection of stories that the Lord has lain on my heart over the past few years. My main reason for writing this book is to show, that no matter how dark your life is or was in the past, there is still hope for you. This book teaches lessons and a hope everyone can claim if they decide that choice.

How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  I was amazed at how the Lord brought each of these stories to me. I try to base everything on what can happen in real life and how to get by that. My characters are all shaped and molded a certain way. Some I wrote for special people.

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  One author that has really inspired me to keep up my writing is author Jody Hedlund. I was so happy and encouraged when she wrote me back on my questions. She is the main reason why I kept up this project and had hope that I could someday be a writer. I also enjoy books by Janette Oke, Dee Henderson, Irene Hannon, T. Davis Bunn, etc.
