flmom1 Stars Out Of 5A bit obnoxious and very caucasianOctober 9, 2017flmomQuality: 5Value: 3Meets Expectations: 1I get a free spirited child. But this girl is a bit over the top. I like Ramona books where the main character is quirky with a good heart. With Gigi I see a girl that lacks that and is just undisciplined. Every single character is caucasian. My family is a beautiful mix. As a Christian book, I expected to see someone my girls could relate too. I was, honestly, offended. It was a gift for my girls. Otherwise, it would not have made it in my house.
StarsMom5 Stars Out Of 5Every Princess Should Have a CopyAugust 25, 2015StarsMomQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I've bought copies of Gigi before and will continue to. For every 3yr old birthday party I know of, I order a book, a tutu, and a tiara and it's always a smash hit with a meaning. Most little girls dream of being princesses and most are told by their parents that they are. It's nice to have a kid-friendly, godly, girly, affirmation. PS. I buy "Will" by S. Walsh with the dress up Armor of God for all the 3yr old boys. :) Both books are great for ages 4-5 as well but kids tend to like playing dress up as early as two, so it's something to grow with them.
