This is one of those stories that teaches you on several levels. The author tells historical facts in an interesting and engaging way, and she reveals spiritual truths unfolding naturally as her characters live and grow in their faith.

The story takes place in Cheyenne, Wyoming during the horrible winter of 1888 that took many lives and livelihood when temperatures plummeted.

Micah has lost his father and on a neighboring ranch Charlotte has lost her father and brother. Charlotte and her mother are left to run their ranch by themselves.

Charlotte has loved Micah for a very long time echoing the constant love that God has for him. She tries to give him hope and something worth living for. *We have two choices. We either give up on God and walk away, or we trust Him no matter what happens to us.*

The themes gleaned were: things change but God stays the same. He is the solid rock. And my favorite verses crop up yet again. Romans 8: 38 & 39. Nothing can separate us from the love of God.

This was a joy to read with real substance. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Another wonderful read from Tracie. She never disappoints. This book was captivating as her other books have been. I even enjoy re-reading her books. I look forward to reading the forthcoming books in The Hope of Cheyenne series.

What a great beginning to The Hope of Cheyenne series. From the breathtaking cover to the final page you will be transported to 1887 Cheyenne Wyoming and the trials a rancher and his family face especially when the devastating snow brings heartbreak and devastation. This is a story of loss but also of hope and restoration. The characters are wounded, raw, and real in their grief but also have strength, determination, and faith that sees them through. I was drawn in and felt like I was part of the story as I felt such compassion. Watching the characters grow and finding joy in their lives again is heartwarming. The pacing is spot on and the characters identifiable that makes for a story that flows from one page to the next. I look forward to reading more in this series. I definitely recommend adding to your TBR pile.

I received a complimentary copy from CelebrateLit/publisher. The honest review and opinions are my own and were not required.

Micah was Charlotte's deceased brother's friend. Both Micah and Charlotte suffered devasting losses. Micah couldn't deal with the shame he felt about his father. Charlotte had regrets about her last conversation with her father.

Charlotte came from a stubborn father and a strong mother. Her mother kept everything going at home and on the ranch. Thank goodness, she was there for Charlotte and Micah. She was the backbone of the family and for Micah.

Of course, included in the story was the nasty and evil attorney that threatened the happiness of all. I wanted to punch him.

It's amazing how fast rumors spread and untruths are believed. It happens even faster today with all the internet platforms.

I enjoyed the story and I know you will, too.

A Constant Love by Tracie Peterson is a historical romance. This book is the first book in The Hope of Cheyenne series. It takes place in the frontier of Cheyenne, Wyoming. During a really harsh winter, Micah Hamilton and Charlotte Aldrich grapple with the loss of family members that include his father along with her father and brother.

Add in a scheming lawyer who on,y want to marry Charlotte for her money, and this book keeps your interest. Tracie Petersen creates memorable characters and engrossing storylines.

From the moment I picked this book up, I could not stop reading until I finished it. I look forward to reading more books in this series.

So, if you want a historical romance that will draw you in and keep you reading, check out A Constant Love by Tracie Peterson.

I received a complimentary copy of this book, but this in no way influenced my review. All opinions are my own.
