    A great gift to give to each mamber of our small group Bible study. We used this in conjuction with the DVD of George C Scott in A Christmas Carol to compare hollywood to the original writing. Everyone enjoyed having a copy of the story they could write in and highlight. A great value for the price.

    My favorite movie version of this story is the Patrick Stewart one so I was delighted when I finally got around to reading this classic and discovered that the movie stuck really close to the actual story! Even though some of the dialogue and prose is very obviously old fashioned, I really enjoyed the quick wit and fun lines that Dickens imparted throughout. I'm glad that I read this and will move this book into my yearly Christmas reads.
