If you have or know someone with a debilitating disease or condition then this book is a must. The author gives us all an example of what can be received from the burdens that are placed upon us by God, this book is very moving and easy to read and in a very short time could uplift anyone no matter what challenges they are facing. This would be a very good pastoral tool for anyone counseling a spouse of someone with Alzheimers or even couples entering marriage to expose them to true love.

I sat under the teaching of J. Robertson McQuilkin as a professor at Columbia Bible College, now Columbia International University in Columbia, SC in the early 1970's. His wife was a wonderful woman with great creativity and a beautiful spirit. He gave up the presidency of the college to become her full-time caregiver. It was a privilege to know them both. This book shows what deep Christ-like love is and the importance of the marriage vows. I hope you will give it a read.

I just completed reading this wonderful book! Just a year ago I lost my mother to Alzherimer's Disease. So many of the refections and questions mirrored my own experience. What a soothing balm to my still grieving heart.

I also think this book should be apart of premarital counseliing. The line by line wedding vow outline brings the reader to the true meaning of love and commitment in marriage.

I plan to purchase addiitonal copies for friends and family.

This is a story of a couple living out the covenant they made before God. With early onset Alzheimers many have chosen a different route. This would be a human representation of how God sticks with us because of the covenant He made.
