watching TV religiously by Kutter Callaway and Dean Batali

I was amazed at all the tv shows past and present that these authors apparently consumed with time to critique them as well! I had hoped to find out what the justification is for the watching of content that so many friends and family feast on. Is there some religious philosophy that ignores f-words and such and jumping into bed with someone every episode, just saying that good wins out in the end doesn't quite cut it for me. That was not really addressed though. I enjoy a good story and always hope (and pray) for well portrayed presentations, I dont mean sanitized, but genuine. I don't want to watch crud that children have to be "mature" enough to watch when they turn some age--what kind of a grown-up goal is that for them! However, I did come away with some more informed questions to ask the young adults in my life especially. I received this free from Graf-Martin and Baker Books in exchange for an honest review.
