Product Description

To medicate or not to medicate, this is the question! The past two decades has seen an enormous increase in the number of children diagnosed with attention disorders. This book explores non-pharmacological interventions to manage and improve attention deficits using behavioral and nutritional interventions. It is a must read for any parent raising a child with an attention disorder. They have changed the definition of science and applied that false definition to deny the rights to Christians of free speech in public institutions, believing they can produce a superior people and society.

Publisher's Description

To medicate or not to medicate, this is the question The past two decades has seen an enormous increase in the number of children diagnosed with attention disorders. America has witnessed an alarming increase in the number of medications given to these children and teens. Some estimates suggest a staggering 1-3 million prescriptions are written each month for one ADHD medication alone Along with the medicines are potential side effects ranging from headaches to death. Parents are increasingly worried about placing their children struggling with Attention Deficits on these medications.and for good reason: there were 51 reported in the US between 1999 and 2004 Pharmaceuticals rejoice in profits: parents look for answers. This book explores non-pharmacological interventions to manage and improve attention deficits using behavioral and nutritional interventions. It is a must read for any parent raising a child with an attention disorder. M. Russell Thomas, PhD has been practicing clinical psychology in North Carolina for over 27 years. He has worked extensively with inpatient and community based services for young adults with severe mental illnesses, children with attention disorders and learning disabilities, individuals battling substance abuse issues, families in distress and geriatric patients with Alzheimer's disease, depression, and age-related mental health issues. He is married to Karen and together they have parented six children, now ages 8 to 26.
