When Jane's college roomates gather for a reunion at Grace Chapel Inn, time seems to disappear. When the four women last met, they were young and idealistic, but in the twenty-five years since they graduated, their lives have taken different turns and the decisions they've made and who they've become test the strength of their bond. As they reconnect, they uncover old woulnds and confess long-buried secrets, and soon it looks like their time together just might turn into a disaster.

WilaniFranklin, NCAge: 55-65Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5an enjoyable readJanuary 16, 2014WilaniFranklin, NCAge: 55-65Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5The Way We Were is part of the Grace Chapel Inn published by Guidepost. This series has multiple authors. The series as a whole in the books that I have read so far is awesome. The books are a fun light read. Three sisters whose father was a minister have turned the family home into a bed and breakfast. Alice is a nurse, Jane is a chef. In this book, Jane's roommates from college come for a reunion week. In the meantime Alice has a patient with amnesia that she brings home and they all work to try and find her family. I loved this book and love the series.
Eileen Elertson5 Stars Out Of 5Wonderful storyFebruary 19, 2013Eileen ElertsonQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Grace Chapel Inn would be a wonderful place to spend time. I love the stories. This book reminds us of the difference we don't even realize some times. How we perceive others is not always the way they are. This book was very special.

They are nice, clean books, and I would recommend them to anyone.

The Old CajunGoleta, CA (west of Santa Barbara)Age: Over 65Gender: male5 Stars Out Of 5An elcellent series by several authorsDecember 27, 2011The Old CajunGoleta, CA (west of Santa Barbara)Age: Over 65Gender: maleQuality: 5Value: 5I have been practically addicted to this series since my wife - yes, I'm a guy who is in his mid-70's - found the first two volumes in a thrift store a few months ago. This particular volume is a part of my wife's Christmas present to yours truly. I ration myself to two chapters a night.
This is a truly unique collaboration between several authors. They are very gifted, paying attention to the details. The characters remain, well, in character regardless of the author. I highly recommend the "Grace Chapel Inn" series as a "cozy read."
