Tell us a little about yourself.  Having been a homeschool mother of seven for over 25 years, (and a book seller as well), finding just the right curriculum was not always easy. It became my goal to help others find what they needed and could afford. Homeschooling and then teaching other children things like math, handwriting and Latin led to writing Olim, Once Upon a Time in Latin. This series is written for grades 2 through 5 but can be used with older children.

What was your motivation behind this project?  Writing this Latin project was driven by the desire to provide a Latin series that young children could learn from and enjoy at the same time. Drawing from fables, parables and stories from the Bible, Olim gives the young student stories that are familiar. Though using a gentle approach, Olim teaches a great deal of vocabulary and offers opportunity to "Dig Deeper" if the teacher wants to do so.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  The goal of this series is to help young children fall in love with Latin. Latin IS hard, but it's also exciting.

Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists?  I am grateful to God for His inspiration to write this series. I am also grateful to my Latin teacher Mrs Shearer who has helped me every step of the way with this project!
