Publisher's Description

The effects of some experiences in life can reflect the pain of being twisted and disjointed. In the new updated and abridged edition of Christian Disciplines, Oswald Chambers helps readers gain a better understanding of how God can use those very encounters to shape and mold them into the person He wants them to be. Readers will examine God’s use of divine guidance, suffering, peril, prayer, loneliness, and patience to get their attention and draw them closer to Him. Christian Disciplines encourages readers to discover how God can transform their lives to become more like Christ, to be strengthened in faith, and to experience the abundance of His grace.
