Tell us a little about yourself. I'm a sinner saved by grace through Jesus Christ, a wife, and a homeschool graduate and now mom. For the last several decades, I've been researching and writing on math from a biblical worldview, along with other topics.
What was your motivation behind this project? I didn't want other students to miss God's handiwork in math or its purpose like I had growing up, and as I shared on math and a biblical worldview, people kept asking for a curriculum.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I want students to leave their math class for the day awed at God as they discover how math helps us describe the quantities and consistencies He created and sustains. I want them to fill in any gaps in arithmetic and learn how to really use math to solve real-life problems.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? I had always said I would never write a curriculum. Never tell God never! I watched Him help me do what felt impossible.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? I've been blessed to know a lot of amazing people, and each has left a mark on my life. I also love to read and couldn't even begin to list the authors that have inspired and encouraged me. Specifically in the area of math, God used a book by James Nickel that I read as a senior to start me on my journey into exploring math.
