Tell us a little about yourself. I've been writing stories for almost twenty years and have to admit that some of my favorite characters have become "real" imaginary friends. I think about them and wonder how they're doing long after the book is finished. That's probably why many characters make guest star appearances in new projects. I'm sure some of them will show up in the Sisterchick novels!
My husband and I recently celebrated our 25th anniversary with much joy. Our son and daughter are nearly grown and both of them are doing great. God has been gracious to us. I feel like we're living under a canopy of His mercy and His mystery.
What was your motivation behind this project? I decided to write this novel when I noticed how many women were sending me letters saying they loved reading about the friendships between the women characters in the Glenbrooke and Christy Miller Series. For a long time I'd been wanting to write a few novels based loosely on travel adventures I've shared over the years with close friends. Those are the times we laughed the longest, prayed the hardest and came home changed the most. The idea for "Sisterchicks on the Loose!" came from a trip my best friend, Donna, and I took to Finland almost ten years ago. Would you like to see a picture of the two of us in downtown Helsinki with shopping bags filled with souvenirs and chocolate? Then please come for a visit at www.sisterchicks.com
