This set of lesson plans is designed to be used with the Memoria Press Literature Guides for 9th Grade: Beowulf, Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, The Canterbury Tales, The Middle Ages, Henry V, Poetry Prose & Drama Book I (all student guides, teacher guides, & novels sold-se parately).
This lesson plan is scheduled around a five- days-per-week schedule. Lesson plans are organized in a grid with boxes for each day's assignments; there are checkboxes by each assignment for easy tracking. The appendix "How to Teach a Novel," "How to Mark a Book," "Taking with us what Matters," "Four Stages to the Central One Idea," "How to Teach a Poem," "How to Read a Poem," a glossary, and an introduction to Shakespeare.
