Lindsay Bedfords parents passed away four years ago and since that time she has lived with her Aunt Rebecca, who is Amish. Lindsay has embraced the Amish culture for the past four years but something just doesnt feel right. Her friends are getting ready to start classes and become baptized members although Lindsay doesnt feel like she is ready to start those classes. Will she ever be ready? A family friend breaks her leg and Lindsay is willing to leave Bird-in-Hand, Pennsylvania, to stay in Virginia for a few weeks to help her out. Will returning to her birthplace and the only place she lived the first 14 years of her life, create in her the desire to return to the English life once again?
When I started reading this book, I could not put it down, it was so good! Amy does a great job relating the characters to circumstances that every one can relate to including sickness, frustration, faith, hope and love. I am definitely looking forward to reading the fifth book in the series!
