She holds a Master's Degree in Education from LaSalle University (Philadelphia, PA) and a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Delaware (Newark, DE). She has presented her research at regional, national, and international conferences and has had several articles and books published. She lives with her family in California, where her main professional interests are second language pedagogy and andragogy, second language acquisition, and bilingualism.
