Tell us a little about yourself. I am a trucker’s daughter, pastor’s wife and homeschool mom to five daughters. I’m a Christ chasing, grace guzzling, word writing woman who just wants to know more of God each day.
What was your motivation behind this project? For me personally, prayer has always been the spiritual discipline I struggle with the most. I am a student at heart so the study of Scripture is natural. But the stillness and vulnerability necessary for meaningful prayer would often elude me. I found the concept of studying the prayers of God’s people fascinating.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I hope that readers will see the wide range of prayers in Scripture. All different types of people prayed all different types of prayers and the same God heard them all.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? I found myself praying right along with Hannah, David, Solomon, Elijah, and more. I was reminded that these are snapshots of the lives of real men and women.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: I would love for readers to check out my other books! I also speak at women’s events!
