I enjoyed this sweet story. Sometimes I was frustrated with either Abigail or Jacob for their handling of a situation, however, they both grew throughout the story and all things became clear. I wish there had been an epilogue at the end of the book. I think it would have rounded it out nicely.

Abigail Pressman has lived in love-obsessed Loves Park her whole life and just wants to live her life and keep her father's bookstore open. Unfortunately, for them, Loves Park is a very small town where everyone has their noses in everyone else's business, especially, a group of quirky, yet endearing ladies, called the Valentine Volunteers. As they convince an unwilling Abigail to join their group, she discovers something she hopes will keep her store open. Unfortunately for Jacob, because of Abigail's discovery, the past he has been running from (and unable to forgive himself for) is about to be exposed to the whole town.
Small town charm and a quaint bookstore, what else could I ask for?! Although this book first captured my attention because of those two things, there are many other reasons I loved this book. I fell in love with the characters and their stories. I laughed at the quirkiness of a few of the characters and cried for others. I often found myself talking to them or rooting for them as if they were real people. I enjoyed the unique storyline of the paper hearts and I fell in love with the town. This is a sweet, heartwarming story of healing and forgiveness and I highly recommend it.
