Most people think of Noah as the man who built a large ship and spent months caring for thousands of animals. But who was he and what events shaped who he would become? This novel was written to challenge Christians to look closely at the life of a man who walked with God. Noah: Man of Destiny takes readers on a captivating, coming-of-age journey through the pre-Flood world. Noah learns more about the Most High while standing against a sinister belief system emerging throughout the land. Whether escaping legendary beasts, tracking kidnappers, or pursuing his future wife, Noah acquires the skills he will need when God calls him to his greatest adventure: surviving the global Flood.
Includes a section at the end of the book to help explain concepts as well as a teaching section that deals with issues and concerns that arise in the account.

Ruth5 Stars Out Of 5Extraordinary BookFebruary 19, 2018RuthQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I really enjoyed this book. I like the way the authors created what could have been the real Noah's world. This book has everything: romance, historical fiction and a great plot. I am reading the 2nd book now and would highly recommend the first and second books of this trilogy. I always think of this verse (paraphrased) "and it shall be like in the days of Noah". The plot reminds me so much of our present confused world.
Amanda5 Stars Out Of 5Excellent storyFebruary 2, 2018AmandaQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I'm so glad to have been given the opportunity to read and review the first two books in "The Remnant Trilogy" from the publisher.
I've been in a reading slump for quite a while. Nothing has been able to really grab me and pull me in.
Until this book.
"Noah: Man of Destiny" the first book in The Remnant Trilogy by Tim Chaffey and K. Marie Adams.
By the second page I was hooked. The authors did an amazing job with the details, drawing the reader in, and captivating them with a story of a man most of us have been familiar with since childhood. Even as a child though, I wondered what the world was like pre-flood. What was Noahs life like before God called him to build the ark?
l'm glad I was given the opportunity to read this book. The authors stay true to what we know from the Bible, and the story they tell (while fiction) has details that are plausible. I appreciate them being able to weave together a beautiful and adventurous story without harming the integrity of God's word.
I loved getting to know young Noah, discovering the path that led him to righteousness. As I said, by page two of the story I was drawn in - desiring to know more and to see where this adventure lead. Seeing how Noah's interactions with his family, friends, strangers, and the world he lives in, caused him to grow in his faith. The story reads well, and is full of action, adventure, and suspense. You grow to know and love the characters as they are brought to life with each turn of the page. You will end the book eager to start the next.
I truly appreciate that the authors included a "behind the fiction" section at the end of each book.
Here they take the time to answer questions raised by the books, giving biblical references as well.
Another fun addition to the book is the section called "Encounter This", where they tell you about specific parts of the book and how they are brought to life at the "Ark Encounter" in Williamstown, Kentucky.
**I was given access to digital copies of these books by the publisher in agreement to give am honest review. All opinions are my own and I have not been compensated for my review.
IrishDutchman4 Stars Out Of 5Well-written, fascinating account of NoahJanuary 31, 2018IrishDutchmanQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0*This is a review copy from the publisher, Master Books. No review, positive or otherwise, was requiredall opinions are my own.*
Noah: Man of Destiny is a well-written, fascinating account of Noah. The author does a great job being true to the BIble with the limited amount of information about the character that it contains. This book covers Noahs journey to become a boat builder, Noah finding his wife and Noahs voyage in adulthood. This book helps the character of Noah come off the pages as a real person and not just a character in a story.
At the end of the book there is a question & answer section. This was helpful in gaining more insight on the fact & the fiction side of the story.
I would recommend this book for teens and adults.
Maryann4 Stars Out Of 5Noah, Man of DestinyJanuary 20, 2018MaryannQuality: 5Value: 0Meets Expectations: 4This book helps one who knows the historical story of Noah to relate on a more personal level. We follow a man's coming into adulthood through his struggles and triumphs. Although I was disappointed with some of the descriptions as he was tempted by the Princess of Havil, we can see Noah as a real man and not just a childhood story of a man in a boat with a lot of animals. I went into this story knowing that there would most likely be a cliff-hanger since this is book one of three. I am not disappointed with the ending, but wanting to continue on to see how this fictional account ends.
Some reviews mentioned that this book is recommended for ages eight and up. I do not think this is correct. I would rate it as teen and up.
