Author Bio

Nijay K. Gupta (PhD, University of Durham) is Professor of New Testament at Northern Seminary (Lisle, IL). He is author of several books, including Worship that Makes Sense to PaulPrepare, Succeed, Advance: A Guidebook for Getting a PhD in Biblical Studies and BeyondColossians in the Smyth & Helwys Biblical Commentary; 1-2 Thessalonians in the New Covenant Commentary Series; and 1 and 2 Thessalonians in the Zondervan Critical Introductions to the New Testament. He is co-editor of The State of New Testament Studies and of the forthcoming second edition of the Dictionary of Paul and His Letters, and chief editor of the Bulletin for Biblical Research. 

Michael F. Bird is academic dean and lecturer in New Testament at Ridley College in Melbourne, Australia. He is the author or editor of more than thirty books, including What Christians Ought to Believe, Seven Things I Wish Christians Knew about the Bible, and Evangelical Theology.
