Ytreeide Advent Stories, 3 Volumes
We got all three books in the series and each year we read a different one to the kids. We rotated through all of them and then started again for a second round. The kids loved them and so did we. The books wove in and out of eachother. I would highly recommend these. My kids looked forward to each night and sometimes ask if we could read farther on to the next night. I would say the ages can be as young as 4 up to young teens. All the kids still remember with pleasure the stories. It held all our attention. Again I highly recommend them. I have not found anything close them yet!

Great Stories - Every Year!
We loaned one of the books to our pastor's family last Advent for their evening devotions. They enjoyed Bartholemew so much that penalties were instituted for those who snuck the book and read ahead ;) LOL!
We've been reading these books for years and have really enjoyed them. We're looking forward to reading the new Lenten book.

These stories are well written and interesting!
My children enjoy listening to these historical fiction stories being read each year. They are so interesting and well written! The author has done a superb job of intertwining the characters and plots of the 3 stories together. Since there are 3 stories we continue reading them post Christmas until we're done. They are appropriate for ages 6 or 7 up to teen years. They might not be the best bedtime stories since the plot includes some dangerous situations for the characters, especially at the end of the chapters (cliffhangers). I highly recommend these books!
