I loved this book from page 1 to page 213. It was exactly what I needed to hear, exactly when I needed to hear it.
There are oodles of helpful ideas and hints for battling fear, busyness, setting plans and trusting God throughout the entire book. Each chapter has things for you to do - share, pray about, consider. It is very interactive. Holley's hope was to sit down for a cup of coffee with each woman reading her book and listen to them share their heart about the dream they are clutching. It almost feels like she accomplishes this. Every word she gives is personalized and encouraging. Every page is geared towards you and your goal. Which leads me to share my favorite part of the book; Holley's personal notes to me.
Well, not just me - they are for you too. But they felt like they were for me. Every once in a while a "handwritten" note is included within the pages of the chapter meant to lift you up right where you are at. She did a beautiful job of hitting the thoughts of my heart bang on. It was the icing on the yummy cupcake for me.
I give this book an all out thumbs up! A ***** rating of incredible. It is an easy read - the time it uses up will be in the heart processing stages. Take your time, do the exercises and be blessed.

Great resource for following your passion
A God-sized dream can be scary. Sometimes it's hard to know where to start--or even when. But when the seed of a God-sized dream is planted, nothing matters except finding a way to make it happen.
Holley Gerth is a certified life coach whose book "You're Made For a God-Sized Dream" shows you how to discover your dream and how to take the steps to make it a reality. In order for her advice to be of any value, you have to work...and work hard. People won't always believe in your dreams. They won't always offer support. They may even criticize you. What you must realize is that your dreams can't come true if you don't work hard and respond when God opens the door.
Reading Holley's book won't automatically help you fulfill your God-sized dream, but it will help you make a solid start. The Go Deeper Guide at the end of each chapter will help you discover more about yourself and your dream. Many more resources can be found on Holley's website.

Never too Old to Dream
I think we all remember the dreams we had as children of what we would be when we grew up. Then they slowly faded away as the realities of life took over and our dreams took on a different form. In YouâÂÂre Made for a God-Sized Dream, Holley Gerth talks about making dreams a reality and how to do it. No dream is too big for God!
This book is so inspirational and full of hope. It opened up my eyes to a new perspective on dreaming. It isnâÂÂt something we should give up on as adults. If anything, this is the time to actually pursue them and bring them to fruition. There are things I wanted to do in my life and I fell into the trap of fear and give up before I even start thinking itâÂÂs too late. But there is no age cap on dreams!
What I liked about the book is she takes you step by step through how to make your dreams happen. At the end of each chapter is a Go Deeper Guide. Here she proposes a list of questions connecting to the chapter to relate it to you and your personal journey. This was really thought provoking and made me dig deep down to answer some questions IâÂÂd never really thought about before.
Each chapter covers steps to take along the way, obstacles that you will surely face and how to overcome them. I like that towards the end of the book she shares real stories of people that have made their God-Sized dreams come true. It inspired me to dig up my dreams that had long since been forgotten.
Just as no problem is too large for God to handle, no dream is too big. YouâÂÂre Made for a God-Sized Dream is an in-depth look into what that means for you and your life. ItâÂÂs inspirational, hopeful and best of all, practical!
