Beautiful book
Looking to make a trip to Yellowstone or the Grand Tetons? Or maybe you can't make the trip but you've always wanted to go, well then here's a book for you!
I loved how this book was bursting with amazing glossy photographs, and fun facts. Decked out with tons of fold-out pages for more learning, but what I loved most was how this book was written with a Christian Creationist prespective!
This book is well written and fun to read when you have a spare moment or two, and it made me want to go to Yellowstone again!
I loved learning fun facts and serious ones about the first National Park, I found the book readable for all ages and it could even be used as a homeschool resource!
Overall this is a book that I would highly recommend for those who have an interest in National Parks and for those who are looking into taking a trip to Yellowstone or the Grand Tetons!

A must before you Visit Yellowstone
My son has always been interested in Yellowstone, so I thought this book would be a perfect book for us to study before we go on our trip. I was not disappointed in this book and neither was my family. We enjoyed reading the text and looking at the pictures. It was refreshing to read a guidebook that discussed creation and not evolution. It was also interesting reading about how some science theories donâÂÂt work when compared to creation, like carbon dating.
One of the best features of this book was all of the panoramic photos with labels of the important locations in each photo. The descriptions describing each area of the parks was also excellent. I really felt that we could learn everything we needed to about Yellowstone from this book. We are now armed with knowledge about what we can see and do on our journey.
I highly recommend this book to everyone of all ages, whether it is for enjoyment, science class, or history.

An Incredible Resource with a Biblical Worldview
Incredibly illustrated, well-organized and written, Your Guide to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks will have you packing your backpack, hiking books and Bible for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure!
"Many come here for inspiration and refreshment but fall short of what this area teaches. David, the Psalmist, got it right when he viewed the mountains and found a question, Psalm 121:1 "I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; from where shall my help come?" He answers his question with a correct answer, an answer to lead all of us to ponder our God as we view His creation and His work: "My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth" (Psalm 121:2)."
This guide is a wealth of geological, ecological and historical facts right at your finger tips. Its' lens is a Biblical worldview shedding light on:

In addition to tips for visiting the parks, and general information, key places within the parks that demonstrate the flood / uniformatarian debate are included. Be it glaciation, boundaries, erratics, extent of sedimentary rocks, sliding, steep-walled canyons, fossilization, petrified forests, bark beetle ecology, mutualism and cooperation, wetlands, fires... it's here within these pages.
Each National Park is broken down into points of interest including Old Faithful, Specimen Ridge, Jenny Lake and Signal Mountain just to name a few. Each of these 26 points of interest are then broken down further into a gorgeous three page spread that describes a variety of topics specific to that area. On the outside of each of these pages is a thought provoking question that can be answered within the spread, such as:
"What is the significance of 11,000 ft of rounded quartzite rocks?"
"Why is there bark missing from so many trees?"
"How do we know faulting happened in the Teton's after the ice age?"
This is a must have book if you plan on touring the park, are a Geology / Creationist fan - or - you are one yourself and want to share this evidence with someone who believes in Evolution.

Explore from a Biblical Worldview
I visited Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks as an impressionable nine-year-old. I still remember clapping as Old Faithful blew once again, peering over the brink of the mighty Upper Falls, hearing the elk bugle, gazing up at the majestic mountains from a glassy lake, pinching my nose at the rotten egg smell of some of the geyser basins, and fleeing from a bison I encountered in the woods. Looking through this picturesque book takes me back to that place. And even if you never get a chance to go, this guidebook gives you a taste of the wonders there.
Published by Master Books of New Leaf Publishing, this full-color book is casebound, so it wonâÂÂt fall apart if you pack it in your suitcase or take it camping. The 188-page book is small enough to be portable with helpful foldout pages for additional information on special sites.
