    There is a good amount of information in this book that will help you know what topics you should teach your children. However, the history is written from a Islamic perspective and tends to leave out facts that are important to consider when studying history. It is very obviously written with the desire to teach Islam in a positive light. In fact, they teach as though Islam is the peaceful religion and all others are not. Christianity is only spoken of in a negative light. For example, compare these two quotes from the book: ("Muslims took over Jerusalem . . . There they lived peacefully with those of other religions" and "Christian soldiers killed every Muslim they could find.") As you can see, stating they "took over Jerusalem and lived peacefully with all religions" is written to give the reader a positive perspective. Whereas, look at those "evil" Christians who come in and kill all those poor peaceful Muslims who "took over Jerusalem." I only recommend this book for parents who are VERY involved in their students education and will read and process this together.
